[Electronics-talk] CD Burning and Space question

hi.
do you know of a compression software, where i can get like double the 
space on a

blank 720 mb cd-r disk.
got 110 files, but they are almost 900 mb.
can i get 900 mb disks.
or not.
and if there is a utility, will it work, and can i then get the mp3s on 
to the cd.

ps: not sure if i zipped up the folder, since they are all mp3s, have 
just e-mailed jvc, to see if this will still play on my boom box, all 
mp3s, zipped up in a folder. as got a 720 mb disk, and the files are 
almost 900 mb, and variying bit rates, some 320, 160, 128, 192 kps.
