Hi,
Sorry I made an assumption you were looking at information for mainstream. I do have a victor stream which works fine but is another device to carry. I also have an iPad and an iPhone and while I ahve dabbled in a few ibooks, I usually use my kindle so am not well versed enough to give much feedback.
Not sure if your interest in ereaders may involve research or text purposes etc. but another thing about the kindle is that books that have since March 2011 now reflect page numbers. The page number feature does speak and is great if you actually want information as a resource.
The new competitor ereadersmight be much mroe advanced. To qualify someone's earlier feedback, while the kindle is not fully accessible to all levels it is very, very functional but I think much will depend on what your reading purposes are, as also mentioned.
When I got my ereader, you could not go to a store and see the actual ereaders as you can today. You would need to likely get someone to assist with setting up voice guide so that all your directions speak on the kindle and I suspect for the sony, nook, and the kobo or any others this would also be the case.
Take care.
Sharon

>>> Uh, well of course you've got the Stream, BookPort, and the other eReaders specially designed for the blind. But as far as mainstream eReaders, the only one I know of that is accessible is the iPad. The Kindle and Nook both are inaccessible.
