A couple, some stations offer multiple channels, so the is more
variety. The signal is less susceptible to multipath interference,
so generally works better in moving vehicles and areas with a lot of
interference. Depending on how much bandwidth each station uses for
each of its channels, it may sound better than analog FM, or not as good.
Also, if you get a signal, it will sound good, without hiss etc. If
the signal is to weak, like with any digital broadcast, you will get
nothing. This is different from analog where you will hear something
in low signal areas, it will just be compromised.
