[Electronics-talk] accessable satellite tv equipment

Well, if the new line of Panasonic TV's with built-in text to speech are
that expensive, no one will buy them, and so Panasonic will be forced to
discontinue them. But it may not make any difference whether these TV's are
popular or not because Panasonic's new CEO is recently stated publicly that
he intends to focus on industrial products and gradually phase out consumer
electronics altogether. Panasonic's share of the consumer electronics
market has plummeted in recent years as it has faced stiff competition from
Korean and Chinese manufacturers, which have shown no interst in producing
accessible TV's. So it is possible that Panasonic's newaccessible TV's may
never reach the US market.
