[Electronics-talk] Stand alone scanner with is easy to use

Hi I am looking for a scnaner which is easy to use, a stand alone unit and the ability to store information. I don't want to connect this to a computer at all. I have heard the Sera from Freedom Scientific is a good unit, however I was wondering is there a much easier one to use than that one? If so could you e-mail me at:
