BB, will you write to me off list? I am just wondering how you were able to
search for a show. I haven't been lucky and I have the app on my iPhone.

Ok here's the skinny. At&t boxes are not any more accessible than any other
cable company here in the u.s. However, the menu sequence to check if sAP is
available is not complicated.
Similar to recorded shows. You press recordings and as long as you know what
shows you have you can arrow down and count. It is not easy and it is not
fun to do this but that's the sacrifice we make every day.
Now as far as the u-verse app. It is accessible but only about 50 percent.
You can look at your dvr and it will show you what recordings you have, it
will not read the show title to you. Each date is a heading and each click
is a show title. you have to double tap on each item to actually here the
title spoken. Again it's better than nothing but it still kind of sucks. In
this app you can also look at your scheduled recordings but same thing goes
each date is a heading and each blank click is a show title.
You can also go to the program guide if u want to set up a recording. Again
the only way you can access the shows you want, or at least the only way i
have found, is to use the search box to type in a show title. The show title
will come up with a record button. So yes it can work with a bit of patience
and a zannex or two.
You can also watch select tv shows on your device. Note that these are only
the show's at&t says its ok to watch, which means they change all the time
and no, you cannot watch your recorded shows.
I bet if we could get ahold of the app team we could probably make this
thing accessible it just needs a few tweeks. Getting a hold of them might be
the challenge.
