By the way, one thing that the iPhone has are apps that will not give
you a route to your destination, but rather will tell you where you
destination is from you. For example, 1000 feet northeast or 500 feet
ahead and on your right.
As you walk, drive, or bus toward your destination, the phone will let
you know how close you are getting. You're still responsible for
actually picking the route, but can get good guidance on how close
you're getting.
