[Electronics-talk] Media players with variable speed controls

I am looking for a media player program for Windows as well as an Iphone app
that can play various audio and video file formats at variable speeds.  I
like to download news broadcasts and listen to them at my convienience, but
find they take a long time for a little information.  Any way that the files
can be sped up would be greatly appreciated. - Philip
