[Electronics-talk] little printer

About three years ago, I bought from Staples a
(Printer), HP Deskjet D2600 series. I paid $70 for it. Nothing fancy.

It came with an installation CD, and a printed manual. It still tells me if
paper is depleted/jammed, or ink low level warning."

I soon will be going from a Desktop XP computer into a laptop with Windows
7, and as of yet, I don't know if Windows 7 is compatible with the printer.

I have not decided yet if I'll keep the XP Desktop computer, or run it to
the ground together with the printer.

The computer has protection, but it already makes a funny loud noise. It
looks like the fan near the power will go soon.
