You will get this message when using older versions of IE. This doesn't
mean that the browser won't work. It's just a nag to get you to upgrade,
which you should, for many reasons.

I never noticed this since I use Firefox almost exclusively. I'll
occasionally use Chrome, but I can't remember the last time I pulled up
IE. I wouldn't think Google would ever stop supporting other browsers,
as long as they have the features needed to support Google's web sites,
but I think it's understandable that they'll push their own browser
ahead of the competitions.
