Peter,
This sounds neat. Can you explain more about this AT Guys bar code scanner?
Does it interface with windows only? I hope you don't need an internet
connection for this.
Do you have a built in synthesizer for it, or do you have to use the
computer's screen reader?
Can you add your own labels as well? Does it just read the label or pull up
other info associated with that label such as nutrition information?
How fast i s this thing?

Hi Sarah. I use the Quantum barcode scanner from AT Guys; just plug into a
USB plug on the computer; also install BarCode Finder software which is free
download from AT Guys. The scanner can be gotten for $149.00. Thanks.
