I mentioned the Panasonic.  The quality of the speech on it was awful!

Land-line! :), What are those? Is that a phone with a dial? :) In all
seriousness, has anyone on this discussion mentioned the Panasonic cordless
phones with the talking I.D? I had one, although it had many flaws.
Basicly, you could only hear the information on the call as it came in.  You
could never hear the number since, it always tried to match the number with
a name, or simply say, out-of-area.  Have a good evening.
