Hello, I'm sorry you are having so much difficulty. Mary and I are both
totally blind and we love our thermostat. By your description, we have 1
like yours, though I don't know if the model is the same. I see that Dave
sent you the manual, that should help a lot. Write to me off line if you
are still having problems after you read the manual. I will try to help you
out. The people at Talking Thermostats have been very nice on the phone, so
I also suggest you call them.

Warm Regards,

Fred

Hi everybody,
We have a talking thermostat. But were not exactly sure what we're doing
wrong. We got it as a freebie from a barter thing.
We don't have the manual so maybe we figured someone can help us.

The brand is a Calvin I'm not sure what model it is but on each side of it
as an opera down raised arrow their large buttons with around thing I guess
the speaker in the middle.
On the bottom is a door that opens it's got all kind of programming junk in
it.

I thought I figured out how to program it to where it would stay the same
temperature all the time. I tried that, I set the temperature drops it will.
Not all the time. Just when it wants to annoy us. Mostly sometimes at night.
If we turn the thermostat programming off, it goes crazy too. I think we
just don't know how to work it.
Any help would be great.
