Hi Sharonda,

I have some documents that I used on a former BrailleNote. Of course, they
are in .kwb format. I was just wondering if there is a conversion tool to
turn them into text? Thanks in advance

You have two options: using the translate options under File Manager, or
opening the kwb file by the normal means, then saving it with a new
filetype. The latter method is perhaps the easiest. To do that:
1. Open the file as you normally do.
2. Press space with s to Save the file.
3. You'll be asked for a new filename, and at this point, press backspace
with x until you see the option for text. When you see the option for text,
enter the new file's name and press enter.
4. You'll be asked if you want to open the newly-created file. Answer no if
you like, or go ahead and open it if you want to. The file's contents will
be shown to you, then you can exit Keyword as you normally do.

If you want to do it with File Manager:
1. Open File Manager.
2. Press t for translate.
3. Enter e for export.
4. Browse to the file that you want to translate/export, then press Enter.
4. The default option will be File. Press Enter.5. At the "Export as which
filetype" prompt, press space with dots 3 and 4 until you reach the desired
filetype, then enter the name for the new file. Press Enter.

You should then get a message that says "1 file exported". and you're done.

Hope this helps.

Tom
