Hi Tracy and all,

Here are some possibilities for a solution to your problem.

Use a lighter  touch.   If you think you are about to get into your problem,  press the home button and start over again.  Perhaps a setting change or two might help.  In settings, general, accessibility, turn on  reduce motion. In keyboard mode, turn off auto correction.  Leaving that on will drive you crazy.  I have check spelling off at the moment.
