I have had that same experience with Panasonic.

Dear Sherri,

I have always liked the Panasonics; we have one right now that has
five handsets--on in each bedroom; on in the front of the house and one
downstairs in the man cave, and they weren't horribly expensive; sorry I
can't give you a model number, but we have had them a long time.

I am looking for a new cordless phone. I don't want to spend a fortune, but
I want one with good sound quality and a speaker as well. Multiple handsets
would be good too. Any recommendations? Thanks.
Sherri
