Several years ago, I tested the VIP and Kelvin talking thermostats, whether 
they are still available, I do not know.

I remember seeing somewhere, once upon a time, a talking thermostat that 
would replace your existing central heat/air  thermostat controller. Does 
anyone know where I might find this ?  or if it is not available , what is 
your  experience with  a good indoor/outdoor thermostat? Thank you for your
