[Electronics-talk] Happy New Year! and Amazon's Cloud Player

Happy new year, listers.  Hope you all have a prosperous year and just because it isn't Thanksgiving Day, don't forget to be thankful for seeing the end of an old year, and the beginning of a new one.  Now, to my question.

Has anyone been able to use Amazon.com's Cloud Player?  Not just only in playing songs--which I've done.  But downloading songs from it to your PC.

I set up my preferences for the purchased songs to go to the Amazon MP3 Downloader, but something went wrong and it didn't happen.  Instead, they went to the Cloud Player.
I called technical Support.  But I'm sure most of you know how that went.  In the end they just reissued me the opportunity to re-download the songs again.

I've bought most of my music from Amazon.com.  It was a cinch before they came up with the Cloud Player.  There was an attempt to exempt my account from it, but no dice.
So if anyone has any tips on how to deal with this, please let me [and/or] others know.
