[Electronics-talk] portable cd player and radios

Hi all,

I have lots of cds that I still play and will buy them as long as they are sold. It is easier to me than downloading mp3s.
I label my cd covers so I know what it is versus an sd card holding several albums, you cannot label it except for a few letters so its more memory as to what is on the card.

Anyway, what portable cd players can you suggest? Better yet, a cd player and radio combo.
I have one; its often called a discman since it’s a portable disc player.
But it is having trouble now by skipping tracks if we go over bumps and is slower.


I searched online and found some options. But I  don’t know how accessible they are. As long as it has buttons, I can probably use it. If the radio has features such as programming stations or bookmarking I probably cannot use that except for if a sighted person programmed in the stations and I memorized what button went to what station.
It would be nice if there was a talking radio out there so you knew what frequency you were on.
