Got this from our mutual friend, Walt, Skeeter.

This is a good GPS app.  Keeping in mind that it has just recently been 
released, and that it is a project still being developed, and also keeping 
in mind that I have only gone for one walk using it, I find it very 
intuitive to use as a blind user.  It works very well with Voice-Over.  The 
only drawback I find, and it may be that there is a way that I have not 
found, but there is no way to store favorite or oftenly used routes or 
points of interest.  The "history" only stores the last two destinations, 
according to the user's guide.  But overall, I like this app very much.
