Good evening Lee and list.

Connecting to wireless lans is something I do on a regular basis using an
Asus U52F Notebook running Windows 7 with JAWS 14.0.1534. Generally one can
make the WLAN connection using the Network and Sharing Center or by
launching your web browser and telling it to diagnose conection proglems
when you get the message saying your web page cannot be found. With either
method you should get a list of available networks in the area with
information as to whether it is secured and if so what is the encryption
type, e.g., WEP, Wp, or WPA2. Siply down arrow to the network you want to
connect to and press Enter, then press the "connect to a network" button. If
the network is secured it will prompt you for a password and you may also be
directed to acknowledge an network access agreement with standard
disclaimers. Once you have completed these steps you should be good to go.
Happy wireless surfing and best regards,
Rob Tabor Lawrence KS /USA

Hello and greetings I heard about a course that cisco was offering for blind
users. I'm seeking to connect to wireless networks without having to be
dependent on people.

Windows 7 does not allow you to connect to network automaticly the way the
xp did. It's all visuall. a person who's blind seems to have an impossible
time connecting to network especially when you have to use the mouse which
takes sight.

Are there any keyboard commands a blind person can use to connect to
wireless network automaticly?

thanks for your support.

best wishes

Lee
