Good evening.

Today I received my Dell laptop and--of course--it has Windows 8.

When I first booted up I was somehow able to get Narrator 
working.  Still, since I know nothing about Windows 8 and my JAWS 
13 did not load when I put it in the CD drive, I have not been 
able to get Narrator talking again and nor can I get JAWS 
working.

Is there anyone who might be able to guide or instruct me in how 
to get Narrator going? And, if anyone can tell me how to get to 
the place where I can ad the laptop on the network to connect to 
the Internet, I will be most grateful.
