Weight can vary as much as 2 pounds during the day due to water and food
intake, etc. You are at your lowest weight early in the morning. You
should weigh yourself at the same time of the day, preferably when you
first get out of bed.

Weight does vary through the day depending on whether you've eaten/drank
fluids before you weighed yourself. And this does just make sense. I
mean, if you've eaten, that food is in there, so obviously being weighed
as well.
I weigh at least a couple of pounds less when I first get up in the am
before eating or drinking anything than I do at the end of the day after
dinner. And my scale is quite accurate, in that I can weigh myself
multiple times in a row and it will give me essentially the same
reading, varying by less than half a pound, and often not at all.
