My understanding is that using Square with the iPhone works well for taking
credit card payment.  However, I do not know if this is really what you are
looking for.

A person on another list is asking where she can find a point-of-sale
machine she can use in her small business.  The machine should be accessible
to both the customer and the seller. The POS is used to process payments for
a variety of merchandise.
Anyone know of such a thing?
