I think you're getting your lists mixed up. The vi-android list is a very
lightly moderated but well behaved light traffic list. The eyes-free list is
unmoderated, incredibly high traffic, more off topic than on topic and has
more than it's share of ignorant Android fan boys. 
Obviously, I think you're referring to the eyes-free list and not the
vi-android list, which is what was suggested below.
