[Electronics-talk] thinking of switching to an Android

Some people say Talk Back feels bolted on to Android whereas VoiceOver 
feels built into IOS, but I don't feel this way myself. I would be 
curious to hear examples from people on why they feel this way. It may 
be true though, since I know you can update Talk Back on Android without 
updating Android, which I think is a good feature. On Apple, I know you 
need to upgrade the operating system to get the latest and greatest 
screen reader.

I don't have an exhaustive list of feature where Talk Back needs to 
catch up with VoiceOver, but a few off the top of my head are:
1) You can simulate more VoiceOver commands from a bluetooth keyboard 
than you can Talk Back commands.
2) VoiceOver allows for braille input.
3) You have hierarchical navigation with VoiceOver, e.g. you can 
navigate by headings, links, tables, lists and so on.
4) VoiceOver has a larger set of gestures and some gestures, like moving 
by character, word, line, .., are quicker to get to in VoiceOver.

Note, I'm still running Android 4.4 with the latest Talk Back. Talk Back 
also struggles with web views in some applications, although I've heard 
this has gotten better in Android 5.
