That's probably not a good idea.  If you want to use a coffee grinder for 
spices, maybe you should keep a separate one for that.  The smell and taste 
of the coffee and the spices would get mixed up, even if yu clean it.  How 
about a mini chop?  That sort-of looks like an upside-down coffee grinder. 
You could try that for the spices.  Pam.

I think the kind with the wheel would be what I'd want to get.  I'd probably
