yYou have your prices wrong, I have used this coffee maker for almost 7
years and you can purchase a package of 80 pods for a price of $38. And
sometimes there is a coupon for an additional for $5.00 off. Even Walmart
sells packages of 18 for $10- $11.

Hi Everyone,
The single cup machines uses a one ounce pod and they cost about $8.00 to
$10.00 for a box of 8 or more.
If you add up how much it cost for 16 which will be one pound of coffee, it
will cost around $20.00 per pound or more.
I have a small Black and Decker single brew machine and has a re-usable
filter and a can of coffee cost around $3.00 to $4.00 per pound.
I like my coffee strong but not bitter and I like it very hot.
The B & D machine has a one button brew and only cost me around $20.00
It's a great machine and I bought it from J and R web site.
I put the water and coffee in before I go to bed and in the morning I only
push one button and I have a great cup of coffee in a few minutes.
I also have a Faraware 4 cup coffee pot it makes a cup a minute.
It is also a great machine.
Tom
