I used to take a small percolator with me when I traveled.  I would buy a 
can of coffee and milk when I got where I was going.  Pam.

Yup, you can get "dregs" in the last cup or 2, but in my humble opinion this
is a minor nuisance compared to the advantages of continuously hot coffee
and the compactness which enables easy stowage for travel. Of course many
hotels provide drip perks in the room, but I find most of them to be less
than impressive.

Pardon me if I'm wrong. But don't the percolators leave ground some stuff in
the bottom.
I've heard they do that?
