I was referring to the taste of instant coffee, which I drank my share
of when I lived alone.

Totally nasty; you obviously aren't a real coffee drinker but maybe like
it to wake up?
Coffee is one of my few vices, if you want to call it that, and
i love my Keurig for its convenience. Andy and Mary Lou's was the first
home Keurig I got to see up close and personal, and we have truly
enjoyed ours.
There was a limited edition that came out last year; its only
difference seemed to be a stainless steel handle to pull the top down to
pierce the K-cup and get the coffee brewing, but it was a lot more
expensive.]
Mine sounds a lot like Barb's; mine has 2 other buttons abov3e3
the cup size selection buttons whose functions I don't recall.

Who needs a fancy coffee maker to make a cup of coffee? I just use
instant coffee. One teaspoon in a mug, add hot water, heat in microwave
on high for one minute, and I'm good to go. What could be easier?
