[Electronics-talk] Telework/work from home/work virtually/telecommute?

Hi,
I know there are a lot of sighted people, especially moms, who are working
from home now but those jobs don't seem to be available to blind people. It
would sure save transportation costs if we could work from home and really
make a living at it. My cats love it when I'm home.
Thanks
Lauren

Der Jenny,

Even the medical transcribing jobs are going away; a friend checked
on one--for a large company--don't remember which one it was, but when
they interviewed him, they wanted money.
Do not ever take a work-at-home job that requires you to pay
anything, not including jobs like Avon or Amway where you may have to
purchase a kit or something.

Hi,

I'm sorry I'm coming late as usual to this, but I'd like to know the same
thing.

I don't want to do medical transcription. That is what a lot of Blind
people do at home from what I've seen.

If there is any ideas, please share.
