[Electronics-talk] Cable, SAP, and 21st Century Communications Accessibility

Well, I hate to say this, but the blindness advocacy organizations are just 
as much to blame as any other parties for this sorry state of affairs.  They 
just sat on their collective butts and allowed the transition to digital TV 
five years ago with nary a whimper of protest.  And are they planning to 
take any legal action against the cable and satellite companies for failing 
to make their set-top boxes accessible?  Not that I have heard.
