Hi,

Yes I think you have changed your rotor to rate. I usually change this back by placing both my thumbs in the center of the screen together and swipe them in the opposite direction of each other (one thumb to the right and one thumb to the left) Do this quickly until you hear it say characters. This will take you back to the position to flick up or down to spell out words on the screen.
