Hi Danielle.
You can use the Jaws pass-through key when there is a key conflict. Hit
insert-3, and it will say "enter key to pass through". Hit the key you want
Jaws to ignore, and it will do whatever you need it to do.
It may be a hassle, if you have to, say, adjust the volume several times,
but not as big a hassle as turning off Jaws.
