[Electronics-talk] kitchen appliances

Daniele,
you need sighted help to label, no way around it unless you have buttons you
can feel, and I don't think microwaves and ovens are made this way anymore.
Get a volunteer to assist or if someone installs it, maybe they can help.
You could ask lions club. the hard fact is we need readers to label items or
read mail still; no way around it.
when I move out, I'm getting a volunteer to read mail and label items
whether it be clothes, cans, or
appliances.

So ask around and you'll find something. not a fan of the technology as
those recognition devices can make mistakes; believe me, saw this in demos.
nothing beats a human pair of eyes.

But what if you don't have no one to help you label in Braille? I did
it once before and I left at microwave with my partially sighted x and
I'm looking for another one for myself! Sandy, where did you get the
Magic Chef or rather, where was it purchased? Chris, large box store?
Names? I might find success there. Do you mean like Sam's? this would
mean have to get another card. Mine was under my x's business and he
cut me off.
