Darla,
I don't have any experience with this phone, but it is made specifically for
someone who doesn't want to have to hold the phone much and deal with
dialing. It is called the Gitter Bug. Like I said I don't have any
experience with the phone, but as I understand it the phone calls an
operator which assists in calling the number you want. Hope this helps

Subject: [Electronics-talk] Accessible Telephone for older Lady
My mother needs a phone that does not need to be held when she talks; she
injured her shoulder and after a knee replacement surgery that didn't go
well, she won't have it, so even holding a phone more than five minutes
causes issues; it would be helpful if the numbers were a little larger and
not many other features to confuse her. Any ideas deeply appreciated.
Darla
