[Electronics-talk] Accessible Telephone for older Lady

Thanks, Grover; maybe we can find a store that sells a fair number of
phones, so she can look at them and perhaps get hands-on experience; the
phone Maxi Aids sells sounds good, but if the company isn't producing them,
broken phone equals new phone.

I would think twice before purchasing this telephone. First, according to
their webpage, Sakar, the manufacturer, no longer makes this kind of phone
(corded). They list only smartphones on their web page. They make Vivitar
cameras (for an idea of the company). Second, Walmart no longer carries
this phone, and the reviews there point out the phone easily falls out of
the cradle, especially when using speaker phone.

AT&T and Panasonic do make appropriate phones, but beware the really
"detailed" setup and programs for many of these.
