[Electronics-talk] Advancing on Amazon

Another tip: when I first started using Amazon after they redesigned their webpages I used the jaws curser to get acquainted with the visual/spatial layout of the page. This helped me a great deal in using the PC cursor in navigating the new page layout.

Respect,

Amin

I shop on Amazon almost everyday, and use Jaws. I have found lately that Internet Explorer and Jaws do not work on some links and buttons.
I actually have been using Firefox for almost everything, and it seems to work much better. With shopping websites, there is a lot of change, and I would suggest exploring the sites with tabs and also with your arrow keys, as well as headings. When you get to how they are laid out, you can jump around much faster. Also I use the find command a lot to find my items in my cart, when I want to edit, and Find the words cart to get to the link to edit my cart, and checkout, an so forth. Both Audible and Amazon do have the accessible sites for supposedly easier access. I find that this is true at Audible, but not so much on Amazon, because I can use my headings key to look through my search results much quicker.
Hope this helps. About their Amazon app, it used to be great, but now I do not like it at all.
