Take a look at http://applevis.com for extensive reporting on iOS 8 bugs and
what has been fixd in iOS 8.1.1. I still wouldn't upgrade were I you.
However,a good many of the aggregious bugs have been squashed.

I am wondering what voiceover related bugs remain in iOS 8.1.1 (specifically
using an iPhone 6)?

I am considering upgrading to the new iPhone from my 4s, but don't know if I
want to give up iOS 7.1.2 yet.

If it helps, I do not use a bluetooth keyboard or braille, and rarely use
safari.
