In general, I would agree that FLASH Drives are generally accessible.  You plug them in and they look like another disk drive.  Some may contain optional software on the drive that is not accessible, but it is 
usually not software that is required to use the drive.  

Just to be sure this is clear, not all FLASH drives will work with all devices like the digital talking book player.  This was not your question, but I thought it made sense to note that in case it might be part of the 
requirement.  Also, Outlook stores mail in a database and that database can be large.  You will want to be sure that you get a Jump Drive that is large enough to hold a good-sized outlook database.  It is difficult 
to tell you what size you need because it depends very much on how many emails you receive, how many you keep, and what you need to back up to save.  You can probably get specific recommendations and 
more information on the size of Outlook databases on GUI-Talk, though.
