Hi all! 
You might be able to get a prepaid data phone plan on an iPhone 5s. They are cheaper than the 2 year data plans. They often come with limited data and unlimited text and talking. You get only what you pay for. I think they are best for people like you and I who don't make a lot of money. Yes, they are also under rated in my book. Don't be afraid to ask around as you research. You also aren't locked in to two years so if you change your mind, no problem.
