Interesting. I wonder why it does not let you just punch in the time like
most microwaves. Has anyone used the one sold by Maxi-Aids? Also, I was able
to find a microwave with Braille when I did a Google search.

Hi Nicole, and all,

Keep in mind  everything talks with this oven.  It has a twelve button
keypad similar to a phone. The buttons are round and small.  Press the star
key to hear the time. Press and hold the star key to  set the time.  When
holding the star key in, the oven speaks set hour.  Press 3 and 6 to move
back and forth through the hours till u get to where u want it. Press the 2
key to set minutes.  You will be prompted to set minutes.  Press 3 and 6 to
navigate the minutes.  I think one can press and hold 3 or 6 to go through
the minutes. The oven counts the minutes for each minute or five minutes if
held down. When the clock is where u wish it to be, press the star key again
and the clock starts. 

One can cook something for 17 seconds if they wish to do so!  The oven has
its own way of doing things. One presses and holds buttons till  the desired
minutes and seconds are reached.  For example, to cook something for a
minute, thirty seconds, press the 4 key and the oven prompts cook time,
press minutes. Press the 3 key once. Press the 2 key  and the oven prompts
set cook time seconds. Press and hold 3 key till u hear 30 seconds. Press 7
to start cooking.
