Coffee cup stickers? Say what? I don't know what that is. Pam.

Hello Carol, the talking microwave that Wally world used to sell was called
the
Hamilton Beach cook magic and it went for around $100 from what I remember,
you may be able to still get it on Amazon. What I do for my micro wave is to
use the little coffee cup stickers that they place on the coffee lid and we
place them over the buttons on the micro wave. We had about a dozen coffee
shop stickers different shapes and sizes and I had my brother and law put
them over the buttons that I thought I would use the most, 1, 2 and three
minute settings along with the clear button and a couple other ones. They
have stayed on my microwave even after 9 months of daily use in a house hold
of 5 and constant family members over using it. I will say this, the morning
after my brother and law labeled about 10 buttons we woke up and they were
all gone, my teenage daughter scraped them all off because she was board and
didn't know why they were there, go figure, but after that we never had a
problem. HTH

Hi Carol,

Puff paint is a product that comes in a liquid state and then expands to
create a raised dot or other shape that can be felt. I'm not sure of
brands, but you can most likely get it at Michaels or on Amazon.

Warmest Regards,

Fred

What the heck is that? Sure sounds like a funny name and am curious to know
just exactly what it is.

Hello:

No, they discontinued that a few years ago. I would have loved to get the
talking one but, my budget couldn't afford almost $400. I didn't want to
struggle trying to put Braille labels on a flat screen. I've also learned
from past experience that the labels don't stay on very well, especially
when you try to wipe off the front with a damp cloth. In desperation I did
a web search for microwaves with dials and came up with one site. I ended
up getting one with dials from www.compactappliances.com. It has two dials.
The top goes from low to high turning clockwise and the bottom is the timer
with the dial turning clockwise. I used a talking timer until I got used to
how far to turn the knob to the desired time. You may not want it though
because it is only 700 watts. I just leave things a bit longer than you
would in a more high powered oven.

Doesn't or does
Wallmart still have the talking microwave for $68?

hi
There is a Panasonic which has five preset buttons with a touch pad. The
five buttons can do many things although they don't talk.
