While I don't have actual experience with this, i understand that
listening to a live radio, at a sporting event can have another
problem. The radio broadcast,, for a variety of technical, and/or
programming reasons can be substantially delayed from the action on
the field or court. This could be anything from a few seconds, to 20
seconds or more, from what I understand. There are ways to mitigate
this, but they aren't always done.
