Don't know about the iphone, but I bought a light probe from the NFB Store
several years ago that does what you want. The brighter the light, the
higher the pitch. It will pinpoint the light source, too, so I can check
different lights along a panel, for example. Don't know if the store still
has it, though.

I need a way to test light levels and just how bright lights are and I would
like to use my Iphone. Is this possible using voiceover? If so how? If I
need an app can you recommend one? If I can't do this with an iphone can
anyone recommend anything I can try?
