Hi Tony,

I think the Canoscan is a good choice if they are still made. They run off
the USB power and are very portable.

Warmest Regards,

Fred

Subject: [Electronics-talk] Portable flatbed scanner

Hi, we're looking for a portable flatbed scanner to be used with a laptop
and can be transported from room to room or to the lib rary to scan books.

We already have an all in one printer scanner and that's not what we are
looking for.

We'ave checked out major retail stores including fries electronics and
amazon.

The Lidda scanner is not available and we're tryiung to find one so if
anyone knows of a place where we can get one then let us know.
