[Electronics-talk] Traffic signal app

Where in California? I live in San Francisco, and have traveled quite a bit in Hollywood, Santa Monica, and San Diego. I've seen plenty of cocked up intersections, but none I couldn't negotiate better by listening to traffic patterns, rather tham listening to traffic lights.

Of courss this is not a new topic, it's been talked about since the 80s. However, I still have not been convinced that APS technology is more reliable than traffic patterns.

I know this is a controversial topic, and I'm not sure where it's going, but I want to put in my 2 cents.
