Yes, I know a lot of them don't have tags anymore, or they put the tag at the bottom of the left seam.  that's why I mentioned using staples if possible.  If one has time and someone to help, puff paint can also be used.

 One simple solution
 might be to cut the tags a certain way for each shirt, 
 if there are tags in them: cut off the left
 corner for one, the right corner 
 for
 another, a slit down the middle for a third.  Or maybe use
 staples, but 
 place them where they
 don't touch or scratch you and can't be seen.
