[Electronics-talk] Looking for Good Am/FM Radio

Hi all,

I may place an order for the model which ends with either XT2 or TX2.  It has a mono speaker but it is stereo with a headset or ear buds.  It is the first HD Radio which is Am, Fm which can operate on 3 double A batteries and AC power with adapter.  I hope to order one shortly.  It has voice prompts as well.  This would be ideal when traveling.  

I recently came back from  Pittsburgh PA.  I visited someone who has a narrator and I was impressed how nicely it performed in that market with many HD streams available for the listening!  I understand the Narrator will still be available umder another model number.  I only have one HD radio stream in my area.  My narrator works fine otherwise.  I took a small Insignia  FM  HD radio with me on my trip and it worked nicely as well!  I can only use ear  buds with that small radio.
