I would have to say that the sparc portable HD radio is a very nice radio.
It's substantially better on AM than my radio shack HD radio. On FM they
are about equal. I am very happy with it's performance. It is one of the
most sensative AM radios I've had and that includes the panasonic RF2200.

Ray, there is no way to know the answer to your question. However,
this effort may have a slightly better chance then previous ones, as
iBiquity Digital is behind it, and they are the people who developed
the HD technology. So they have more of a vested interest in its
success, and don't have other products, like Best Buy or Dice Electronics
did.
